The short version: Jorres Apps collects nothing about you. No data leaves your browser. No accounts. No tracking. Free forever.
What we collect
Nothing. Jorres Apps does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no third-party data collectors embedded in our pages.
Cookies
We do not use cookies of any kind — not for sessions, not for preferences, not for advertising.
Local storage
Some tools save data to your browser’s localStorage so your work persists between visits (e.g. Notepad, Kanban Board, Journal, Budget Tracker). This data:
- Stays entirely on your device
- Is never transmitted to our server or any third party
- Can be cleared at any time via your browser’s developer tools or settings
- Is lost if you clear your browser data
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Render.com) may retain standard HTTP access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and operational purposes. These are not used by us for analytics or marketing and are governed by Render’s privacy policy.
Bug reports
When you voluntarily submit a bug report via the “Report a Bug” form, we receive the text you enter (app name, description, and optional email). This is used solely to fix reported issues and is never shared or sold.
Third-party API tools
A small number of tools make outbound requests to third-party services on your behalf:
- IP Address Info — queries a public IP geolocation API with the IP you request
- DNS Lookup — queries public DNS resolvers for the domain you enter
- Whois Lookup — queries public WHOIS servers for the domain you enter
- Currency Converter — uses static exchange rates; no outbound requests
These requests originate from our server (not directly from your browser) and do not include any identifying information beyond the query itself.
Children
Jorres Apps is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the “Last updated” date at the top will be updated. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
